TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE

"Time waits for no one" is an old saying, but how true it is. A couple of weeks ago, I celebrated another birthday. My brother took me out for a birthday lunch. I always enjoy spending time with him. But I still felt an unrest within me. A longing if you will for those who couldn't share this day with me because they were no longer here or because they are too busy or unconcerned to see how time slips away. Before you know it, that person is also gone. Then the "Oh I wish I would have spent more time with them, or been there for them, etc., etc., etc." Too late. Why do people wait too long? So indeed they find that instead of saying "Hello,", they're truly saying "Bye, bye, bye."
